Programme management, improving knowledge management, and leading capacity development initiatives for the NORCAP and UN OCHA managed IASC protection and gender capacity projects. The projects provide tailored support and expertise to humanitarian operations worldwide. NORCAP contributes to solving key challenges within the humanitarian, development, and peace-building sectors, to improve aid to better protect and empower people affected by crises and climate change.

I coordinated extensively with stakeholders across humanitarian operations, collaborating with experts to design and implement tailored capacity development activities.

Contributed to programme management with a specific focus on communications, stakeholder coordination and the design, delivery and evaluation of protection and gender equality capacity development activities for professionals working with UN agencies, (I)NGOs, CSOs, and/or standby partners in humanitarian emergencies. The role included frequent travel to regional hubs.

Assisted in Research tasks for a project by the Nordic Societal Security programme; project Development tasks for 7 EU funded projects, including financial reporting and supporting audits; and Innovation tasks producing a light review of RDI quality assurance activities in higher-education. The Police University College operates under the Finnish Ministry of Interior.

Tampere Metropolitan Area

As a Research Assistant, I supported public and stakeholder communications for a project examining new value creation opportunities in the industry-society interface. I coordinated and produced webinars, and drafted communication materials, including for a web guide.Additionally, I served on the board of the Finnish Association for Administrative Studies, which oversees a public administration journal. Related to this role, I also acted as a Conference Coordinator and Secretary for two academic associations, organizing a conference celebrating Finland's 100th year of independence for scholars and government representatives.

Helsinki, Southern Finland, Finland

Kuntamarkkinat, Finland’s premier public administration event, attracts over 7,000 visitors annually. As a core team member, I managed stakeholder coordination with universities and student associations to organize nearly 100 volunteer assistants, overseeing rota planning, training, and supervision. I was also responsible for coordinating permits, security arrangements, and supporting communications with service providers to facilitate the event agenda.

Envisioned and facilitated the expansion and regional reach of virtual courses, setting up a team to provide courses for new thematic including public governance and journalism, and contributed to the development of the company's new strategic framework.Turun Yliopistovalmennus Ponnahduslauta is managed by members of academia and aims to offer high quality preparatory courses for university entrance exams at a lower than market-value to make university education more equally accessible for all.
