Worked in 2 adhesives plants as a chemical engineer focusing on improvement and cost savings projects.Vapor Lock Minimization – Studied the Thermodynamic equilibrium regions and mass transfer limitations of the loop reactors to better understand why vapor locks plague Eastoflex and minimized Vapor lock frequency by > 90%.Eastoflex Capacity Maximization - Studied heat and mass limitations to maximize capacity while minimizing lost catalyst yield and maintaining vapor lock avoidance to increase rates across all products. o A $0.5 Million claim was submitted as a result of this project which captures the value in lost sales from 2021 had capacity not been increased by this work. o A $6.4 Million claim was submitted as a result of this project which captures the value in lost sales predicted for 2022 had capacity not been increased by this work.New Product Scaleup (AerafinTM 35) – Performed several scale up experiments from 2019 to 2020 to commercial a brand new product for sale. This product is now a part of the product wheel and was the gateway to learning more about the reactors and allowing Technology to implement further new product scaleups for high heat automotive application.
