My role on my family farm includes milking 60 cows in a tie stall barn, maintain registration papers as well as manage herd records. I also feed and care for the calves and make beneficial and financial decisions to improve the herd.

I was part of the team that worked on a research study through the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. I accurately fed calves three times a day and maintained records on their appetite and attitude scores,

My daily duties included filing, data base entry, and phone answering. When not doing those, my tasks included assisting the various people that came into the center and promoting the tourism industry within Wisconsin.
