Served as Interim Director of Operations Rehab Services for Jefferson Healthcare. Conducted audit for systems, procedures, and culture of the rehabilitation program. Developed standard operating procedures, established system protocols, revised expectations and accountability measures to meet and exceed KPIs. Benchmarked goals to assess revenue cycle performance and compliance.

Promoted into this role in 2014 as CHI St Vincent merged with St Joseph’s Mercy Hospital. Responsibilities included management of all 4 St Vincent Hospitals in the Arkansas market for inpatient and outpatient therapy services. Included responsibilities: managing budgets for all departments, productivity, staff hiring/retention, moving to Nation-wide standardization processes for rehab services. Served on multiple National workgroups within CommonSpirit Health. Participated in survey readiness for Joint Commission and Arkansas Department of Health.During this time multiple other departments were assigned to me including Athletic Trainers, Neurology Lab, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Patient Transportation. Contracted services included Crothall and Arkansas Monitoring Services. Joint venture contract with D1 Sports.Promoted to Director Transfer Center/Patient Access & Patient Throughput role in 2019 held in conjunction with Market Director Rehab Services. These additional responsibilities included management of all patients transferred into the health system from outside facilities, all patient bed placement, all direct admissions from physician’s offices, scheduling of outpatient infusion, blood transfusions, chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies.Responsibilities for Patient Throughput included education and optimization for using the TeleTracking and SynapseIQ platforms for bed control and patient throughput.During this time TeleCommunications department was added to my organizational reporting structure.
