Mike Karpishka is an accomplished entrepreneur and visionary behind several successful ventures. He began his career by developing core programming for The Mad Science Group, where he quickly rose to the position of Director of Franchise Support. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Mike launched the Mad Science Ottawa location and, within a year, spearheaded the creation of 10 additional locations across Ontario.After leaving Mad Science, Mike founded Edu-Corp, an educational company offering unique programs. He has also been a Keynote Entertainer at the Calgary Stampede, showcasing his diverse talents. For 11 years, Mike operated a private school for international students, and in 2007, his work was profiled by CBC in a feature broadcast worldwide on shortwave radio.In recent years, Mike made a memorable appearance on Dragons' Den (Canada's version of Shark Tank), which ignited his passion for health and wellness, leading him to explore molecular hydrogen-infused water. However, his entrepreneurial journey took another exciting turn when he encountered a tiki boat on Lake George. Today, Mike is the co-owner and operator of Palapa Tours International with location in Ottawa, Toronto, Wasaga and Mexico where he has developed a successful licensing model to expand these ventures.Most recently, Mike launched the Aqua Taxi Solar initiative, a fleet of solar-powered water taxis aimed at providing sustainable transportation solutions in Ottawa. With a focus on reducing the city’s carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly tourism, Aqua Taxi Solar is poised to revolutionize water-based transit in Canada’s capital.
