A Business Analyst II in the Central Business Administration Function (CBAF) of the Daylight Overdraft Reporting and Pricing System (DORPS), an application that administers the Board of Governors’ payments system risk policies. Plans, analyzes, develops, monitors and implements moderately to highly complex full lifecycle systems for Treasury and Payments Services; defines user requirements and implements requirements management and project management processes; resolves application-related user problems; creates data queries and act as a user liaison; performs assignments that may be broad in nature by making decisions pertaining to business work and conferring with management on unusual matters; and supports information security and business continuity activities. · Defines high-level and detailed business requirements for application development, including new or modifications to existing requirements. · Writes test plans and scripts. Coordinates and executes quality assurance and application user acceptance testing, and contingency testing. · Supports/assists customers with understanding of policies, procedures and application functionality. · Performs and monitors application daily operations and supports application change management processes. · Develops end user documentation. · Communicates high level of knowledge of business rules and environmental components. · Writes simple to moderately complex queries against system databases per customer user or senior management specifications. · Regularly interacts with management and team members by attending and participating in application/project conference calls, status meetings, and planning sessions; provides advice and guidance to management with regards to options and alternatives and assessing the impact of business and operational decisions. · Develops and maintains internal procedures to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve System and U.S. Treasury requirements.
