Specialist Library Technician, Print, Description Services
Current- Discovery and delivery services are dependent on efficient and thoughtful bibliographic and description services. Working in the Print or E-content teams you will play a key role in ensuring delivery of high quality.
- Providing a high quality resource discovery service, including creation and maintenance of acquisition records and receipt and processing of library material (physical and digital).
- Performing copy cataloguing and description for published, electronic and digitised collections, in accordance with current international, national and local standards, in a range of subject areas and formats.
- Undertaking SFX/MetaLib maintenance, actioning monthly updates.
- Describing and processing of digital collections including digitised and born digital items.
- Maintaining up to date procedures and workflows.
