If Strategy and Creativity had a child, it would look a lot like me. Since 2003 I’ve devoted my strategic communication and public relations skills to successfully motivating behavior change, encouraging stakeholder engagement and improving clients’ bottom lines. I currently lead a team of communicators to produce award-winning content as part of a regional clean energy campaign. From press releases and television scripts, to social media posts and blog articles, I have created digital content that has elevated the visibility of the companies for which I have worked. During my time as an independent digital marketing and social media consultant, I helped businesses grow their online presence with quality content. Under my direction, clients saw increases in social media engagement and web traffic. In addition to producing a television series, I’ve been a radio news producer, voiceover actor and have organized and promoted numerous events ranging from community lectures and family-centric educational festivals, to a 5,000-person bike ride and specialty food festival.I’m constantly curious and began my career as a journalist to ensure that I would always be learning something new. I'm hungry for knowledge, eager to gain experiences and want to know what makes people tick. I love to nerd out on communications planning, reflecting on problem statements and ideating with teammates. I thrive with measurable objectives and am the broken record in a meeting that will repeatedly ask “What would success look like?” and “How will we know when we’ve arrived there?”. I follow the Public Relations Society of America’s methodology of strategic communications: research, planning, implementation and evaluation. I consider myself a lifelong student of the art and science of communications. Public speaking energizes me and I’m eager to make emotional connections with people through story.
