I had no intentions of becoming a technical enthusiast. I graduated Cum Laude from Utah State University with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Economics and foresaw myself bulldozing through Wall Street as a stock broker. Then everything changed. In 2012, I was offered to work as a Project Manager for the University of Phoenix on their web team; my first taste of technology. I was fascinated and never looked back. I looked for roles that provided me with leadership opportunities and landed in Product Management. I learned I had a knack for developing relationships, a meticulous attention for detail, and the ability to dive into technical implementations that most would shy away from. My persistence paid off and my love for learning new things propelled me into leadership. Now, I work as a product manager specializing in mobile app development within the e-commerce space. I've had the opportunity to work with best-in-class 3D design tools and augmented reality development that can be seen on the newest Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen mobile apps.
