Dear visitor,I'm a Circular Economy entrepreneur and expert with specific focus in implementing Circular Economy into functioning business models.In the heart of Circular Economy we find new business models built on data, material flows and often logistical optimization.I’m a CEO and founder for Arcticles Oy that is operating winter clothing rental services for tourists visiting Lapland in Rovaniemi, Levi, Saariselkä and Ruka-Kuusamo through our Brand Winterent as of summer 2024. Besides that I’m a Circular Economy consultant for Alkem Oy, working on business development based on data-analysis of Finnish industrial waste and side streams for which I’ve created a database to help out in material stream and availability analysis. The database can be used for recognizing potential side stream material suppliers and to support feasibility studies to validate investment decisions in industries. The database could be used by technology providers to search out customers and their facilities where their technologies could be put to work or to find optimal locations.I also consult small and mid sized companies on how to take Sustainability into account in Company's processes and helping to tackle the sustainability issues.I’m was involved with Kamupak, a startup creating deposit system for allowing the circularity for reusable packaging and other similiar applications. Currently in advisory role, but previously took care of developing solutions for our package service customers and took care of the economics and Sustainability topics. In mass terms kitchen production amounted around 1000 kt/a and windows production was around 4000 kt/a. The work focused on production's and product's environmental performance in order to support the marketing department, but besides that, other interesting founding's were made on supply and R&D.Suomivalimo Oy, Iisalmi, Finland based mid-sized furan sand foundry with annual turnover of around 12 M€ (2015) and 4 500 kt production focusing on large castings and short to mid sized series. The research revealed major improvement potential in environmental performance and quantified certain economical benefits from such improvements.Traryds Metall Ab, Strömnäsbruk, Sweden based small automated red metall, tin bronze and aluminium bronze foundry with annual turnover of around 6 M€ (2015) and 500 kt production focusing on small and mid sized series.
