My natural affinity for solving problems has led me to seek positions in which I can take information, formulate a solution, and execute that plan to help those I am working with. These skills help me thrive in fast-paced, constantly changing environments where adapting to unique situations is necessary. I have utilized my problem-solving skills as a Customer Service Representative at Target. In this position, I strengthened my abilities by dealing with a variety of issues brought in by customers. Additionally, throughout my time at Target, I have been assigned management duties, such as assigning tasks to other employees, monitoring the break schedule, and training other team members. Taking on administrative tasks fueled my passion for leading teams and sparked my interest in studying business management. As a UNL student, I study HR Management with a minor in Business Analytics as a part of the Nebraska Business Honors Academy, where I collaborate with a cohort of like-minded students and work with distinguished staff in project-based classwork to enhance my education. Additionally, I grow my communication and leadership skills in my role as a Campus Host. Through giving energetic and engaging tours, I have learned how to adapt to different learning and communication styles to provide the most effective tour possible. My relationship-building skills have been strengthened as a Resident Assistant, where I support freshmen living on campus in their academic and social lives. These positions have developed my passion for working with and motivating others to achieve their goals.
