As the Associate Director of the Athens Research Center at Danimer Scientific, I lead a team of polymer scientists and engineers who develop and test biodegradable polymers for various applications, such as food packaging. I have over 10 years of experience in polymer research and innovation, and I hold a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, a Master's in Business Administration with a finance concentration, and a PMP certification. I have also contributed to multiple patents and publications on biodegradable coatings and dispersions and received prestigious fellowships and awards for my academic achievements. My core competencies include formulating biodegradable polymers for aqueous/extrusion coatings and blow molding, project management, and team leadership. My mission is to advance the science and technology of sustainable polymers that can reduce environmental impact and enhance human health and well-being.
