Research Associate, Cancer & Aging Research Program (Carp)
Research associate and team leader at CARP. My research is mainly focused on investigating which specific pathways and proteins are involved in the DNA repair of skeletal stem cells and how the decline of repair processes with age contributes to musculoskeletal diseases such as osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. I am also interested in the link between mechanotransduction and DNA damage repair. In addition, I am coordinating the intake and supervision of undergraduate students who visit CARP as… Show more Research associate and team leader at CARP. Lecturer
I am coordinator of Biochemical Pathways and Metabolism (LQB481) and Cellular Engineering (LQB595), a second and a third year unit within the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences degree. I am also teaching into Biochemistry (LQB381), Biomolecular Research Skills (LQB681) as well as Chemistry for Health Sciences (CZB190) and regularly supervise Work Integrated Learning students during their internship at CARP/TRI.
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Cartilage Regeneration Laboratory (Crl)
Postdoctoral researcher and deputy head of Cartilage Regeneration Laboratory (CRL).
