Karsten Nebe is full time professor for Usability Engineering and Digital Fabrication at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Communication and Environment in Kamp-Lintfort, Germany. He is head of the degree program “Usability Engineering, M.Sc.” and since its foundation in 2014, he is the director of the FabLab Kamp-Lintfort. He has been working as Usability Expert since about 17 years and did his doctoral thesis in the field of integrating Usability Engineering and Software Engineering. He is author of various scientific publications in the field of Human-Centred Design, Digital Fabrication and Making. He a nominated expert at various (and head of one) national and international standard committees related to human-centred-design. Based on his experience in Industry and research, he is offering a wide range of consultancy-, coaching- and training-services in the broader field of human-centred-design, design thinking (i.e. Google Ventures Design Sprints) and related.
