Reporting directly to the CEO worldwide, this position had the main focus to lead the global operation.Multi-cultural management, communication and sales structures. SharedXpertise LLC, is a worldwide association management & process transformation company, headquartered in Washington DC with the European Headquarter based in Brussels where I also acted as the European General Manager.

The assignment incorporated responsibility of 17 different countries, including the 10 new EU-member states, representing a total yearly turnover of approx. €110 mill. The focal point for this position is market development and determining Pioneer’s strategic presence and establishment in these countries

In this position I was responsible for a Pan-European Business reorganization and development program covering the European HQ and its nine sales subsidiaries. The program employed 120 team members mixed between nationalities, internal employees and external consultants. The implementation enables following results.•Ensuring common and leading edge business processes across Europe•Eliminate or reduce significantly all non-value-adding activities in Pioneer Europe and its subsidiaries•Improve the accuracy and speed of reporting through the use of common definitions and data structures• Decrease operating costs with 10%• Decision making lead-time to be reduced by 50% or more. • Increase forecasting accuracy to a consolidated average of 95% in the first 2 years after implementation• Decapitalise the short term (cash-to-cash) operations by 20% through lower inventory levels and decrease in A/R days (as compared to actual ratio capitalisation/turnover)

In 1999 I was appointed as General Manager, covering finance & accounting and general administration including HRM activities. In this position I was accountable for the expenditure & investment budget and I became responsible for E-commerce development & CRM system solutions. During this period I also joined the implementation of the EFQM methodology, where I acted as the project manager for the key-processes part.

In 1998 I was involved in setting up the Pioneer European HQ Multi Media Branch Office in London. This included solving the day-to-day general management-tasks but also chairing the monthly forecast meetings, coordinating the pan-European sales demands and sales opportunities with the manufacturing constraints and requirements
