Provides financial and analytical leadership and support to North American R&D and Biological Assessment Leadership team. Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets for all functional business heads. Responsible for long term financial planning and analysis, support of the organization’s M&A transactions, and evaluation and decision support of investments in capital expenditure projects. In addition, responsible for managing the Company’s global treasury activities, including debt capital raising and refinancing, bank relationship management and treasury services product evaluation. •Financial Planning & Capex (Capital Expenditures) – Responsible for the corporate planning process associated with our five-year strategic plan as well as a key contributor in the development of the Company’s annual planning and monthly forecasting. Drove process to increase organizational focus on investments in capital expenditure projects by working with leaders across sales, operations, engineering, etc to identify projects that are accretive to the firm’s financial performance metrics. Partner with the Director of Finance to conduct due diligence on all potential M&A transactions, as well as support the organization’s CIO and IT team on all investment projects.•Capital Structure and Hedging - Manage the treasury function, including cash management and bank financing, implementation of a new bank group, renegotiation and establishment of revised covenants. Responsible for developing the analysis and presentations to the Company’s board of directors on capital structure management. In support of this analysis, I created a long term comprehensive financial planning model – P&L, balance sheet, statement of cash flows. Supported a $100M private placement note to refinance our revolver. During this transaction, I executed a rate swap lock that mitigated the company against a 40bps rate increase, equivalent to a cash settlement of $2.7M. Over the past 4+ years, I have either led or co-led the raising of $750M+ in debt capital. Responsible for all commodity and interest rate derivates, including execution, accounting and financial reporting.

Business Unit finance lead for the Company’s $40M international business. Focused on geographic expansion, cost and supply chain management, and SG&A control. Responsible for all aspects of the Treasury function, including cash management and bank financing•International Finance Manager - P&L responsibility for the organization’s $40M international business. Direct financial reporting and strategic initiatives focused on geographic expansion. Supported the leadership team in developing specific strategies associated with product costing, supply chain management and SG&A.•Corporate Finance and Capital Markets - Managed the company’s $100M credit facility, including letters of credit, and covenant compliance. In addition developed a 12 month rolling income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet forecast model that allowed for management of covenant requirements.•Cash Management - Constructed a 13 week cash forecast model to provide a real time snap shot of the company’s cash position, including current share repurchase activity, daily debt facility pay downs/advances and financial metric variance analysis.•Project Management - Implemented a $215M annual spend Purchasing-Card program that resulted in an annual corporate incentive of over $1.5M and a cash flow benefit of $875K.

Responsible for daily cash management for the largest retail hair care company in the country. Responsible for the daily debt requests and the quarterly covenant compliance certificates associated with a $250M credit facility. Supervised a team of 5 Salon Banking Specialists that were responsible for managing the relationships at over 1,800 retail banks and providing customer service to over 11,000 salons. •Cash Operations – Responsible for the daily execution of the firms cash position including executing wire transactions, account reconcilement, and debt repayments.•Fee Analysis and Savings - Implemented bank analysis software to assist in reducing overall bank fees, and to track any adjustments made from the various banks. The project resulted in an annualized company savings of $150,000. Implemented debit card processing in Canadian locations and renegotiated the authorization fees with our merchant card processor. This reduced our credit card fees by 15% and enabled sales processing reconciliation on a daily basis. The savings was $100,000+ per year.•Project Management - Co-led the development of the company’s gift card program. Established a reconciliation process, designated user authority levels to the program to ensure segregation of duties, and managed the third party business relationships.

Responsible for managing the largest retail branch in the country for US Bank (St. Paul). Led the sales production of 8 Personal Banking Officers by implementing various weekly/monthly/quarterly contests aimed at achieving our quarterly and annual profitability deliverables. Following my first full year at the branch, St. Paul was the 2nd most profitable location in the company. •Networking and Business Development - Developed “USBusiness Liaison,” a business-to-business network system that puts businesses in contact with other business to provide aid in operations and product development for all small and medium sized businesses. This led to a 10% increase in our overall business portfolio.•Sales and Services Leadership - Received the Pinnacle Award for managing the turnaround of the largest branch to become the 2nd most profitable branch in the country•Sales Productivity - Prior to being promoted to a manager role, I was a top 5 Personal Banker with respect to loan production. Established a niche practice in boat financing, having established a strong network of marinas along the St. Croix River and around Minnetonka and Wayzata.
