NSS-SUPPORT-ENGINEER-NORTEL, INDIA• Maintaining of Nortel DMS 100 Switch: Integration & Maintenance of Nortel Networks MSC, HLR and USP.• Analyses of alarms do the necessary observations like soft reset/hardware reseating, swapping and replacing due to the severity of cases.• Monitoring the alarms and Trouble Shooting for faulty in MSC’s & HLR’s.• Analyzing Traffic & KPI Reports, Switch performances, fixing software and Hardware errors.• Configuring Cell sites, Signaling, Circuit Groups, Circuits, Routings etc., • Participate in Technical Operational Review Meetings with customer.• Raising & Resolving the issues with NTS team depends upon the severity of cases.• Resolving customer issues in 24 X 7 environments.• Maintaining WNMS Back up for both Main and Performance Server.• Performing Regular O & M activities and maintaining the Network with minimum alarms.• As a Network Administrator, Maintaining Passwords for various Network Elements and Preventing Unauthorized Access.• Doing Preventive Maintenance and checking hardware life cycle.
