About Karthik Natarajan
I have been involved with architecture, design, process, and product development for the last 20 years.An architect and a designer, I have trained in Pune, Pondicherry, and Dessau-Roßlau in Germany. I have successfully completed projects for brands and institutions in India, Germany, Scotland, Singapore, Brasil and Antartica. In 2013, I had been commissioned by The Aga Khan Foundation for their showcase exhibition in Hyderabad at the Qutb Shahi Monument Park.Since 2016 I have been involved with various startups at various stages of their business to ensure a better design experience. I designed the UI for the first live version of the LetsIntern app (the company later got acquired by Aspiring Minds when it reached over 4 million students). I am also a stakeholder in a travel company that focuses on premium experiences in India and overseas. Since late 2015, I consult to a food startups, helping kiru a farmer first fmcg brand and Black Baza Coffee Co, a sustainability focused coffee brand. In 2017 I co-found India's only pure fruit, no additives Low GI/GL Fruit Spreads Brand (www.tashaandgirl.store).Since 2018 I have been consulting with Hasiru Dala on their various waste picker initiatives from housing, to recycling to policy research and have led the study on design of personal protective equipment for waste pickers and difficulties in access.At fields of view, I work on extending our equity approach to new areas. Using serious games to address complexity in wicked problems, I am building the domain agnostic muscle of the organisation. Outside of work, I perfecting hot sauces and cheese sandwiches.
