Proficient in protein purification and fluorescent labelling, membrane mimic lipid vesicle preparation and molecular dynamics simulations.For every one else,I take a glimpse (sometimes long ones) into how the key proteins that help shuttle essential nutrients into cells (a trivial sounding task) communicate with each other and make the process possible!

Proteins fold and function (at least some do), but amongst those, some misfold. I studied the tendency of proteins to misfold in near native structures using coarse grained simulations, and built a database consisting essential information about 122 E. Coli proteins to improve our understanding of the effect of misfolding on its function.

Looking at the world of metals one atom at a time (on a simulation, of course), I studied how homogeneous melting takes places. Using analyses built in C++, we studied the dynamics associated with the transition of a perfect crystal into a chaotic liquid. Understanding this process helped us confirm some and invalidate other predictions of existing theory used to describe this process.
