A Mechanical Engineering graduate with total 15+ years experience in Static Equipment Design, Estimation & Project co-ordination for Oil & Gas, Power and other Process Industries.Roles and Responsibilities:> Support in bidding process by providing Technical Expertise> Design and implement strategy to develop the Engineering Progress to meet targets> Identify and actively pursue opportunities for Engineering Department Progress.> Guide team to design & development of engineering drawings for fabrication and coordinating with internal departments. > Participation in Pre Bid Meeting, Kick of Meeting, Pre Inspection Meeting, Weekly Progress Meeting, 3D model review Meeting etc.> Mentor Team to Perform the design of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Bins, Columns, Atmospheric Tanks, Buoyancy Tanks, Filter Vessels, Heater Vessels, Packages in accordance with ASME SEC VIII Div.1, ASME SEC VIII Div.2, PD 5500, API 650 and good engineering practice. > Supervising the entire project process including the design & development and coordinating the planning, fabrication, welding, materials, procurement and QA QC department> Participating in ASME recertification audit for U-Stamp, U2-Stamp & S-Stamp, Client Audits and End User Audits. > Eliminating redundant / obsolete processes including the design, development processes and working towards value-addition> Guide team to Keep record of the designs and drawings as per the institutional requirements.> Controlling the project budget with regard to Design and coordinating with Project Team for Variations.> Allocating work to staff, mentoring and monitoring their performance, encouraging them to meet deadlines and employing administrative procedures & policies within the department> Guiding to Generate ordering information (TDC) for material procurement, performing manual calculation, coordinating with AI/Third Party Inspectors for approval of Designs & Drawings.> Liaising with sub-vendors to ensure quality deliveries.> Review & sign off Designs, Drawings & Purchase Requests. > Provide proposals to client for cost effective and feasible alternate proposals. > Ensure team follows consistent design / drawing processes which are continually reviewed for improvement against design engineering best practices
