Automating the regular processes, track issues and update the document changes. Discuss with developers and come up with query tuning and schema changes. * Handling Query optimization, performance tuning, execution plans, Database migrations and server upgrades. * Regular disk cleanup activities, maintenance plan for deleting the unwanted or temp databases in dev and test environment.* Creating, modifying the SQL Server Agent jobs to optimize the server and managing the maintenance plans using automated scripts like ola hallengren and tool like SolarWinds, Redgate SQL Monitor & Idera tools.* Proactively monitor SQL Server maintenance tasks, troubleshoot failed jobs and resolve issues in a timely manner.* Troubleshooting the application slowness and performance issues.* Maintain reporting and data integration processes using SSRS (Reporting Services) and SSIS (Integration Services). Experience in handling ETL tools move large data into SQL Server Author and modify SQL Server Reporting Services reports.
