• New product development & Design of Fixtures, Tools, Gauges for the new Product and Getting quote for the Fixture, Tools & gauges and negotiate with the supplier• Responsible for facility layout. New projects layout design and proving.• New line installation to increase capacity for meeting market demands.• Preparation of documents for new products on project management approach.• Attend shop floor enquires and interact with the production engineer on the regular basis.• Provide immediate response and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the build process.• Coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors to meet the project on timeline.• Provide technical assistance to all functional departments to meet business goals.• Coordinating resource planning including CAPEX, REVEX budgets.• New projects conversion to production.• Cycle time reduction and waste elimination.

• Leading the team of NPD Engineers. • Allocation of roles and responsibilities to team members involved in the project.• Evaluate the Feasibility of new enquiry by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and material.• Scheduling technical review with CFT team and provides query clarification to finalize feasibility of the project.• Preparation of BOM and project timeline with detailed activity based on customer deadline. • Preparation of 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Solid works. Transfer drawings to production team for manufacturing.• Preparation of fixtures, jigs and gauges concept. • Preparation of Process flow, Work instruction, Proto Control plan and PFMEA. • Production of sample proto, carry out trial validation, Layout inspection and generate reports. Recording TGW and taking corrective action for the issues.• Production of Pilot lot, based on sample proto model customer feedback. Preparation of PPAP and support customer in process audit.• Signing off PSW and handing over project to production team on successful completion of process audit.• Tracking and maintenance of NPD documents. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirement and layout.• Perform product, process and system audit as per the schedule to represent process (Organization, traceability and performance).

• Experience as Development Quality Engineer and in- process quality lead mentoring 6 quality inspectors.• Attend TR for new developing components. Preparation of new drawing ballooning, FAI report, control plan against PFD/PFMEA and preparation of PPAP documents.• Allocation and monitoring work load for in-process quality inspectors and ensure BIQ board is updated. • Conduct NCR meeting with cross functional team and record the daily non-conformance.• Perform first off and patrol inspection, raise NC for rejection and rework components, get CAPA from CFT team. Provide on the job training to operators.• Perform Layout inspection and Final inspection, coordinate customer for final inspection with all related documents.• Provide immediate action for Customer complaints and 8D report for NC.• Handling Instruments and Gauges, carrying out NDT in case of customer specification. • Conduct Layer process audit and get CAPA from the respective department. • Support for ISO audit and Customer audit. • Preparation of Weekly report and Operational review report, maintenance of quality control standards and inspection records.
