C | ParaView | Python | MATLABThe aim of this project was to implement a pressure gradient to mimic the presence of a bottom wall, while simulating hindered settling of particles in a quiescent fluid within a triply periodic computational domain.The implementation involved understanding the In-house C based code of the Leichtweiß-Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources, to suitably implement the numerical correction to mimic the presence of the bottom wall and thereby perform simulations to validate the implementation and perform additional simulations to study the effects of cohesion between the particles in hindered settling.

Institute for Aircraft Design and Lightweight Structures, TU Braunschweig.The aim of this project was to develop a robust interface to convert the given 2D topologies into 3D geometries with forced convection and to use the developed 3D geometry to analyse the conjugate heat transfer in the assembly for the given operating conditions. The results of these simulations gave the total heat transfer rate as well as the pressure drop during the flow.

Institute for Aircraft Design and Lightweight Structures, TU Braunschweig.The objective of this work was aimed at testing the relationship between mesh sensitivity and CPU time for 2D and 3D incompressible flow test cases and studying the adjoint calculation speed and implementation of the DAFOAM (Discrete Adjoint with OpenFOAM for High-fidelity Gradient-based Optimization) solver, which was an Open-Source project, for accuracy.The Code was edited using C and Python for this study and GMSH software was used for the Meshing. The Flow test cases were run using the Docker platform provided by the DAFOAM example libraries and the test cases were run using OpenFOAM and visualizations were done using ParaView.

Started my career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in the Post Order Engineering department which performed the Design finalization. The objective of the team was to ensure the structural integrity of the proposed warehouse design projects, that are dynamic in nature (Customer-specific solutions) for Seismic as well as non-Seismic project locations and Finalize the Bill of Material for the manufacturing team. As a member of this team, my primary areas of responsibilities include, and is not limited to:1. Verification of the structural integrity of the proposed warehousing solution using the standard product technical documentation and ad-hoc load testing on the non-standard components.2. Drafting manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD for non-standard structural components.3. Modelling 3D components in Autodesk Inventor for non-standard components.4. Preparation of a material optimized final Bill of material and creation of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) codes for manufacturing.5. Provision of project-specific installation instructions through illustrations using AutoCAD and remote on-call support.6. Documentation of the finalized warehousing solution for reference.
