Co-led project initiation for National Action Partnership to Promote Safe Sleep Improvement and Innovation Network funded by HRSA. Established project team, budget, and final project scope including aim, goals, and timeline.Convened national breastfeeding and infant safe sleep experts to establish best practices, process, and outcome measures.Led competitive hospital recruitment process, and selected five pilot facilities for participation.Leveraged Breakthrough Series Collaborative improvement approach to engage selected hospitals in a multiyear learning collaborative to improve breastfeeding and infant safe sleep in the hospital setting.

Led a comprehensive quality management program to ensure delivery of safe and high-quality primary healthcare services in Walmart Care Clinics across the country. Primary responsibilities, included: Development of policies and procedures governing 13 newly created clinics in accordance with industry and accreditation standards as well as in compliance with statutory and federal regulations. Onboarding and liaising with newly established primary care clinics to develop a virtual based cohesive community of practice and establish standard of care.Creation of National Quality Committee to provide oversight and governance for clinics including development of a quality escalation and event reporting system. Development of evidence-based condition specific protocols to support delivery of high quality, consistent care across clinics.

Led complex grant funded projects to improve healthcare for children and their families. Key areas of focus included improving health-based outcomes in infant and maternal health, mental health, and childhood obesity. Primary responsibilities, included:Oversight of a 20-member programmatic team ranging from Project Coordinator to Senior Director.Collaboration with stakeholders, including: physician and nursing leadership, private, federal, and public health focused agencies to oversee the successful delivery of NICHQ programs, drive results and positive outcomes.Managed and monitored financial performance of all programs including development of budgets, regular review of financial reports and re-forecasting of budgets. Supported development of grant applications and proposals to federal agencies and private entities.Oversaw full grant cycle of project, including: proposal development, pre-award management, post award management, and closeout.

Managed multiple complex projects to improve the quality of healthcare for children to ensure successful delivery of projects goals and deliverables. Managed multi-stakeholder relationships with project team, faculty, funders, and outside organizations. Examples of projects include:- Led a component of a HRSA funded project to provide technical support and training for states to utilize continuous quality improvement as a strategy for system development.- Managed a collaborative funded by The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and the New York State Department of Public Health to support quality improvement initiatives focused on improving newborn and maternal outcomes.- Led a component of project funded by HRSA and in partnership with the Autism Treatment Network to develop evidence-based guidelines to standardize processes and improved outcomes for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. - Managed a component of a CMS CHIPRA grant to establish and evaluate and evaluation a national quality system for children’s healthcare focused on supporting the implementation of a medical home model.

Provided strategic consulting services to community health systems, academic medical centers and faculty practice groups across the country. Past engagements include: o Facilitated the implementation of NCQA Medical Home core requirements across 20+ physician practices for a payer pilot project with a hospital system in New England. o Developed system-wide specialty service lines for a multi-hospital system in the Midwest.Redefined the strategy for a New England based Physician Hospital Organization payor contracting. Primary responsibilities included: o Execution of engagement proposals, strategizing interventions, promoting physician engagement, maintaining project work plans, reports, communication plans, and project financials.

Managed enterprise-wide quarterly quality performance reporting tools and metrics submitted to executive management and hospital boards.

Provided support in managing statewide collaborative physician quality measurement reporting projects, including the development of the first statewide clinical quality report with more than 3,000 doctors.
