Built tools using Visual Basic to help in this task. I was given independent responsibility of data migration for new customers; I would visit the customer, understand their requirements, design data migration, develop tools for it (if necessary) and then migrate the data into the payroll system's database.When an engineering consultancy needed an interface between their attendance system and the payroll software, I gathered requirements, designed the interface, developed it, tested it, installed it, received UAT feedback, fixed bugs, and finally received a sign-off.
