Network Performance and Optimisation of Wifi and LTE Networks

Part of Solutions team in the Wireless Department...I look after the POC's,Technical Presales, Wireless Solutions and Technical Support...Wireless Dept includes Licensed & Unlicensed Band Radios POC's, tech support, tech presales & Support for India & Overseas customers..

-To conduct LOS Surveys in co-ordination with LOS Survey Vendor Teams and Repeater Identification for Non LOS Sites.-Preparing Microwave Link Budgets and Interference Analysis for Microwave HOP using Pathloss Tool (4.0).-Releasing Transmission Plan’s for CDMA and GSM sites either in SDH Ring or PDH depending on the LOS Surveys.-Transmission Plans for Microwave involved assigning appropriate Antennas to our CDMA/GSM sites depending on material availability so as to efficiently utilize our resources.-Have conducted Physical LOS Surveys for CDMA and GSM sites.-Co-ordination with Network Implementation Team regarding the Pole location for microwave links. -Have knowledge and have visited sites during installation of ECI & Tejas Multiplexers.-Have conducted installation of NEC Microwave HOP’s which involved installation of IDU,ODU on Antenna and making the site on air.-Have worked on DCN Planning for assigning Unified IP’s to the nodes present in our Network.-Have worked on providing transmission media for WIFI sites and have also conducted LOS for the same.-Have worked on Ring Splitting of SDH Fiber and Microwave Rings so as to create capacity in the Ring as and when the Ring capacity gets consumed.-Have knowledge and have worked on SDH Technology.-Have worked on Mapping the links for CDMA and GSM to their nearest BSC.-Planning Wired-line Networks on Microwave or Fiber which involved usage of SDH Multiplexers viz Tejas, ECI, Siemens, etc.-Worked on Capacity Augmentation of STM-1,STM-4 & STM16 Rings as and when the capacity of SDH Rings gets exhausted.-Have maintained Database and Reports for all the activities related to GSM,CDMA and Wiredline customers.

-Transmission Planning for New Roll Out and Existing sites of Mumbai for CDMA and GSM.-Responsible for Designing Transmission Network for CDMA, GSM and Wiredline sites.-Interaction with Sales team to provide Feasibility for our Wired line Customers whose requirements were mainly E1’s, PRI’s, Ethernet, etc.-Co-ordination with LOS Vendor Teams for Microwave LOS Survey.-Transmission Equipment Planning, Material forecasting and Optimum use of Available Resources.
