My name is Kartik Verma and I am a 17-year-old climate and child rights activist. I have dedicated my life to advocating for the protection of the environment and the rights of children around the world.I have had the privilege of serving as a child advisor to the United Nation's General Comments 26, where I have been able to contribute to the development of important policies that impact the lives of children globally. I am also a member of the steering committee of the Children and Youth Major Group to UNEP, where I work alongside other young people to ensure that our voices are heard in global decision-making processes.In addition to my advocacy work, I am also the founder of the Knowledge for Nature campaign. Through this initiative, I have educated more than 4000 children and youth about environmental issues and the importance of taking action to protect our planet.I am a sought-after speaker and have had the honor of addressing many national and international events, including the Asia Regional Dialogue on Climate Justice for Children, Youth, and Future Generations, and the University of Geneva. Through my speeches, I strive to inspire and motivate others to join the fight for a better future for all.I am proud to be a part of the global movement of young people who are fighting for a sustainable and just world, and I am committed to doing all that I can to make a positive impact.
