Working as a Software Engineer, specializing in algorithm development for autonomous VTOL drones designed for humanitarian aid missions.

As an EIR at TiHAN-IIT Hyderabad, I am working on a project focused on implementing AI techniques for UAV guidance and control in search and rescue operations. Secured project funding of nearly $2,400 (₹2 Lakhs) for development and testing. I lead a team to develop and test autonomous UAV systems, applying machine learning to improve UAV performance in complex environments. Aimming to complete it by December 2024.

During my internship, I had the privilege of diving into the fascinating world of drone technology and exploring its intricate technicalities. Working specifically on path planning for UAVs, I was presented with a range of challenges and opportunities that expanded my knowledge and expertise in the field. My project serves as a proof-of-concept for utilizing AI-based path planning algorithms, specifically RRT, for UAVs. The successful implementation and promising results emphasize the potential of these algorithms in enhancing the autonomy and navigation capabilities of UAVs, opening up possibilities for various real-world applications.

In this crucial role, I was responsible for designing the integral parts and sub-systems of the rover, overseeing the work of various domains within our team, managing and distributing tasks, as well as actively recruiting new members. As the Head of System Architecture, my primary focus was on designing the rover's integral components and sub-systems. This involved a comprehensive understanding of the project's objectives and technical requirements. Collaborating closely with our talented team, we developed innovative solutions and ensured seamless integration for optimal rover performance.

In my 3rd semester, I had the opportunity to work as an embedded systems developer for P-Kare Innovation Pvt Ltd, where I contributed to the development of non-invasive multi-parameter health screening device and user-friendly cloud health data management platform. My responsibilities included testing sensors, programming Development boards, building prototypes and suggesting components. Additionally, I designed user-friendly applications and contributed to the development of a smart pulse oximeter that featured BLE connectivity to store data onto the cloud via smart phone. I am proud to say that I developed both the prototype and application independently by the end of my internship.
