My passion is teaching Yoga + Ayurveda + Aromatherapy which I consider necessary for living a full, healthy, holistic and balanced life! I started this journey in 1994 because of crippling depression. As I learned these practices and changed my life style day by day, year by year, I felt like the caterpillar emerging as a butterfly! The transformation for me was so profound that I felt called to share this practice with others, so they too, could reduce their own suffering. For me, I knew traditional medicine was not the way to go. I didn't want to take anti-depressants my whole life, feeling numb all the while. This prompted me to live in India and study, so I could learn and apply ancient techniques to myself. I am my own scientist and my own science project. Yet I know what works for me will not necessarily work for everyone. This is the beauty of Ayurveda.Ayurveda is a science, an art, a lifestyle practice that is customized to YOU, the individual person. It considers every aspect about you, your life and your habits to create a holistic health program that will work for YOU! Caring and nurturing people is my passion.
