Dr. Karun Sreerama is a seasoned leader and entrepreneur, serving as the Founder and President of Agility Engineering and Management, Inc. He has held prominent roles in both the public and private sectors, including his tenure as Director of Public Works for the City of Houston and as CEO and President of ESPA CORP, Inc., a Houston-based engineering firm. Previously, Dr. Sreerama served as Executive Vice President and Board Member of Simply Stocks, Inc., a financial data aggregation company later acquired by Capital IQ, a division of Standard & Poor’s/McGraw Hill.A Registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, Dr. Sreerama is also a Certified Advanced Asset Management Professional. He completed the Executive Leadership Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business, complementing his robust academic foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Osmania University, India, and was recognized as the University Gold Medalist for academic excellence during his postgraduate studies at the University of Roorkee (now IIT-Roorkee). As a Cambridge-Nehru Scholar, Dr. Sreerama attended the University of Cambridge, UK, and went on to earn his PhD from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He also holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.Dr. Sreerama is a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum and a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society. An accomplished author and speaker, he has published 23 technical papers in international conferences and journals, and co-authored Soil Dynamics Primer for Paper Machine Dynamic Foundation Design, published by TAPPI in 1996. He has also chaired and convened numerous national and international technical conferences, contributing significantly to the engineering and leadership communities.
