Upon reaching almost 8 years of experience as a Member of the Brussels’ Bar with a specialization in corporate real estate and construction law, Kar Yan is pursuing her career in 2020 as an in-house lawyer at Brussels Airport Company. Her role as Senior Legal Counsel is threefold: (i) she advises the Cargo & Logistics department in relation to property development (demolition, construction and renovation of warehouses and offices) and VAT occupancy agreements, (ii) she advises the Real Estate department in relation to spaces in the Terminal Building, offices in the Airport Business District and land owned by Brussels Airport and (iii) she provides legal solutions which will help the business achieve its long-term Brussels Airport’s Strategic Vision.
