My name is Karyn and I have been a registered nurse for over ten years. I spent the first year of my career working at Apple Rehab, a skilled nursing facility. I then transitioned to Westerly Hospital where I worked as a medical-surgical nurse for two and a half years. Staying within the Yale organization, I began working for Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in 2017 and presently still work at this hospital. I worked as a medical-surgical nurse mostly in the float pool for five years before taking my current position as a perioperative nurse. I recently finished my nurse practitioner degree in December and am now board certified. I am looking forward to beginning my career as a nurse practitioner!
