During my time at Biala Peninsula I have deepened my understanding of Autism and worked with many Autistic children and children with other disabilities. I have taken part in Professional Development workshops and courses on Autism, ADHD, PDA, Key Word Sign as well as many others that support my knowledge and understanding in this role.

I have written two black line marker books. The first was on Media Arts and the second on Design and Technology. Both were written for teachers looking for lesson suggestions in those subjects for K-2.

I worked part time as an Early Childhood Educator.

I spent this time working as a casual relief teacher in mainstream primary schools in Melbourne. I also spent time doing courses in the local curriculum as well as in Dyslexia to update my professional development skills.

I spent 7 years teaching in a Catholic Primary School in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea. I was a full time, class based teacher in a Reception class (Kinder/Prep).During my time at St Francis of Assisi I was promoted and took over the responsibilities of Literacy co-ordinator of the school as well as managing my own class full time. As Literacy coordinator I was responsible for ensuring the standards of teaching and learning in Literacy were maintained across the school. I liaised closely with the local council and wrote the policies for Early Years Reading and Writing that are currently being used at St Francis of Assisi.
