Leads the coordination of a $3.1M research study funded by National Institutes of Health to assess the effectiveness of a primary prevention program for bar staff.• Develops applications for Institutional Review Board approval and offers technical assistance to facilitate the implementation of research activities across multiple study sites. Guides the research team in achieving grant deliverables, encompassing outreach, recruitment, and data collection.• Takes charge of the hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of project staff. Provides direct supervision to the research project staff, leading meetings, coordinating activities, managing schedules, and overseeing research logistics.• Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for the intervention training program and assumes the role of a "train-the-trainer" for staff, ensuring the delivery of the intervention adheres to established standards.• Oversees a comprehensive 6-year budget, handling all financial documentation, including budget projections, to guarantee the project stays within allocated funds while successfully achieving its objectives.• Assembles and writes yearly technical reports for National Institutes of Health, co-authors manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals.

• Established and implemented a confidential process for referring students to the Survivor Advocacy Program, resulting in over 300 referrals during program’s initial year. • Provided confidential crisis management, advising and referrals to campus and community-based services to student survivors of sexual and domestic violence. • Developed curriculum and delivered outreach workshops and training presentations.• Created and maintained external communications to build awareness, including a monthly newsletter and regular social media posts.

• Served as principal Investigator on small qualitative research study, investigating women’s perceptions and attitudes towards a sexual assault resistance-training program. • As Principal Investigator, designed research study, submitted and received approval from Institutional Review Board, and recruited participation by leveraging university partners. Facilitated focus groups and analyzed qualitative data to present findings. • Presented program recommendations for the Center for Relationship Violence, as well as contributed to the field of prevention on college campuses.

• Developed and delivered violence prevention workshops, including a semester-long course for undergraduate students in sexual assault prevention leadership development. • Collaborated with staff to support and oversee an undergraduate internship in Peer Health Education, Students Promoting Empowerment and Consent (SPEAC). • Created, designed and led various trainings on social justice and violence prevention topics for new and returning undergraduate students. • Collaborated on a multi-tiered evaluation model for prevention programming, and oversaw survey administration, data collection and analysis for this evaluation plan. • Additional duties included facilitating the Arizona Safer Bars Alliance (ASBA) curriculum in partnership with local bars and community and state partners (Arizona Department of Health Services).

• Identified emerging evidence-based research on sexual assault and violence prevention.• Synthesized relevant academic articles and uploaded original content to a main online hub for practitioners of violence prevention work. • Responded in a timely manner to requests for literature reviews and / or summaries of new research on specific populations, programs and prevention strategies.

• As Assistant Instructor, prepared materials for in-class activities and lectures, created and maintained database of student grades and course log. Graded student work led study groups for exams and responded to student requests in a timely manner.

Along with duties listed below under Program Coordinator: • Conducted hiring of new staff, created and delivered training curriculum for onboarding new staff.• Evaluated quality assurance pieces for junior staff, organized monthly professional development trainings; supervised overall program performance. • As Site Director for specific $240k OJJDP-funded research grant, oversaw the implementation and day-to-day function of data collection, communicated with research partners, and supervised organizational responsibilities to fulfill grant requirements successfully.

• Interviewed and assessed volunteers, families and children for services.• Managed and supported a caseload of 65-80 youth and their mentors through regular phone calls, in-person meetings and referral recommendations. • Acted as liaison to community partners, established referral connections with local nonprofits, social service agencies and K-12 schools. • Organized and delivered monthly volunteer orientations for incoming volunteers.
