About Karyn Lee-Garcia

Ever since I was young, I've always sought out opportunities to impact the community and facilitate experiences that allowed people to grow and develop. These opportunities started in the fashion and beauty industry, transitioned into marketing, and now through arts education and administration. Currently, I serve as the Chief Programs Officer for the Arts Council for Monterey County. In this position, I work to elevate creative voices by driving partnership development across arts organizations, artists, businesses, and local governments. I leverage these partnerships to transform the creation and delivery of arts education through impactful student and community programming and large-scale public art projects. I'm highly interested and invested in expanding the reach of creatives by leveraging technology to extend their impact.Outside of work, you're likely to find me in my weekly modern dance classes or taking a weekend nature hike. I love to travel, and I'm constantly looking for my next international destination. I am also a big movie buff who loves to binge-watch on any streaming platform available. If you'd like to connect, please feel free to do so here or via email at karynleegarcia@gmail.com.
