As COO, Karyn continues to oversee marketing and business development efforts for BMF, while working alongside CEO, Rick Fedorovich, in assuming additional firm management and operational responsibilities, including financial analysis and performance, and evaluating and implementing practice management best practices. She also collaborates with other functional department heads such as information technology, human resources, and the administrative department as well as continuing to contribute to the strategic direction of the firm. As well, Karyn plays an active role in cultivating relationships and developing resource partnerships with the firm’s affiliates in Allinial Global, made up of independent accounting firms. In this capacity, Karyn focuses on best practices, international needs, market research and practice management in the CPA profession. As well, she has presented at Allinial Global and Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) national conferences on a number of topics related to business development in CPA firms.

Responsible for implementing firm's strategic growth plan and marketing planning and implementation, new business development, monitoring client satisfaction and firm visibility. Working with the executives and managers developing growth of profitable new business and maintaining effective key relationships. Oversight of the marketing department and all related firmwide marketing efforts.

Managed audit and advisory engagements for middle-market, privately held companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, wholesale distibution and nonprofit organizations. Worked closesly with client's management in assisting with arising business issues as well as audit and tax issues.
