Students will learn web analytics, social media analytics, and search engine optimization skills by many hands-on skill-based projects. Students will also learn theoretical and critical perspectives on social media phenomena: principles of social influence, virality, and online privacy. Most importantly, students will be required to write original, professional quality pieces to publish in at least three social media outlets every week. By integrating creatives and analytics, students will be able to learn the power of writing and the dynamics of social media management firsthand.
