I believe that to get what you want, it’s made in incremental steps that compound instead of a monumental shift in one’s life. I am a first-year Bachelor of Commerce Co-Op student at Dalhousie University, with an undeclared major, looking forward to a future in finance. I am passionate about developing different skills by problem solving. Through these past two years, I have applied my skills to SV Window Cleaning, extending our outreach through Halifax, Dartmouth, and Bedford. Providing communities with various home services, to do this it took a lot of team coordination, client relations, and delegating. As time goes on, I have found myself excelling in problem-solving and analytical aspects of my work. Building strong teams has been crucial to the success of the business, by understanding how powerful a strong base of passionate employees can be. Finance is a focus of mine long term, with an understanding of various aspects of business. I am confident in my ability to create long-lasting relationships in my career, by further developing my knowledge through trading futures and analyzing market trends. I am excited to explore potential co-op opportunities for winter 2025, where I can expand ways to apply my skills.
