The Beverly-Vermont Community Land Trust aims to build community power to keep working-class communities in their homes and neighborhoods through permanent affordability and democratic community ownership in Koreatown and the surrounding transit-oriented neighborhoods in Los Angeles. As the Director of Land & Tenant Justice - my responsibilities include leading policy advocacy in relation to housing justice and community ownership, managing tenant organizing programs, developing housing cooperatives, and leading grassroots fundraising efforts.

The Beverly-Vermont Community Land Trust aims to create permanent affordable sustainable housing by exercising land stewardship in order to create pedestrian-centered neighborhoods emphasizing affordable housing, work, and recreational spaces that are economically and socially sustainable, and that integrate urban living with nature. As the inaugural community organizer, my role is to educate and train tenants on the process of acquiring buildings, guide in the formation of cooperatives that will become owners of housing units, as well as advocate for local and state policy that supports the community land trust movement and housing rights movement.

Innercity Struggle's mission is to build a powerful and an influential movement of youth and families on the Eastside of Los Angeles to promote healthy, safe and nonviolent communities. The Eastside is comprised of the communities of Boyle Heights, unincorporated East Los Angeles, El Sereno and Lincoln Heights. As a Site Organizer, my role was to facilitate and coordinate programing in the El Sereno & Lincoln Heights areas and connect school sites into social movements within the education, housing, and civic engagement realms. Represented the organization in coalitions particularly in housing justice spaces.

Using a shared leadership model, the Building Healthy Communities Collaborative addresses challenges like access to affordable health care, quality education and punitive discipline practices, and the need for additional support for the communities of Boyle Height. In their respective workgroups, members collaborate to advance a health and social justice agenda that improves community conditions and enhances opportunities for residents of Boyle Heights. As a Social Media Organizer, my role includes supervising a cohort of social media advocates to facilitate the social media account of a tenant advocacy-based workgroup. As well, my role includes communication stradies and education of tenant rights via social media.

A branch of The California's Endowments Health Happens Here Initiative - this project focused on making health and opportunity happen for America's boys and young men of color through mentorship and organizing. As a mentor - my role was to recruit members from The Eastside and support a cohort of young men across the state in an annual summer organizing program.

The Social Justing Learning Institute dedicates itself to improving the education, health, and well-being of youth and communities of color by empowering them to enact social change through research, training, and community mobilization. As the Administrative Assistant my role includes the creations of everyday operational systems, support in Executive Director's duties, support in organizational programs, and maintain communications with external partners of the organization.

Celerity aims to create a better world by empowering our scholars to be innovative, socially aware, network-focused achievers. Whether in the classroom or online, our academic program will challenge the intellect, provide social-emotional support, and champion diversity, equality, and inclusion. As an Assistant Site Coordinator, my role included supporting the coordination of enrichment programs for the biggest school site within the organization as well as support in the supervision of staff within the program.

We work on voting rights, redistricting reform, government transparency, and money in politics to end structural inequities in our state and local democracies and to create governments at all levels that are accountable to and reflective of California's communities. As the interim office & membership coordinator, my role includes the operational health and functions of the statewide organization as well as the coordination of the youth activist program.

We work on voting rights, redistricting reform, government transparency, and money in politics to end structural inequities in our state and local democracies and to create governments at all levels that are accountable to and reflective of California's communities. As a membership fellow, my role was to support in the recruitment and education of the youth activist program via social media, outreach to colleges around the state, as well as planning of summer retreats.
