Year Up’s intensive training program utilizes a high expectations, high support model where students learn in-demand technical and professional skills and apply them during a corporate internship at top companies. - Provided individaulized support, resources, and counseling to 120 students and interns- Conducted admissions interviews for prospective students to assess readiness and fit for program- Led onboarding for 150 students to identify and deliver appropriate support- Planned and executed events with community partners to increase student access to resources- Built five new partnerships and enhanced existing partnerships with community organizations- Led support groups for students struggling with self-advocacy and substance use- Trained and managed five Masters of Social Work students

As a School Social Work intern, I engaged in counseling, intervention, and provided support to 12 middle schoolers with varying mental health challenges. I led special education observations, interviews, assessments, and engaged in IEP report writing. I additionally facilitated Signs of Suicide for all 6th grade students, designed and led a mindfulness-based group, and collaborated with teachers, administrators, family members, and outside providers to ensure students success.
