My heart beats for society’s Adventurers - those who seek the thrill of summiting mountains, traversing deserts, trekking jungles, and exploring oceans in their fields of work and spheres of influence in order to meet the needs of their communities. Those who create and trail-blaze, bringing concepts to life, visions to light, and strategies for positive change. With a desire for unity and to build community at local, regional, national, and international levels, I aspire to go on my own Adventure: to provide guidance and support for the personal, professional, and leadership development journeys of the next generation of entrepreneurs who seek to better the lives of others. I want to dedicate my life to serving our entrepreneurial servant leaders. To prepare for this future, I have earned a B.S. in Psychology from Middle Georgia State University (MGA) and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership on a Leader Development track at Columbus State University (CSU). Throughout my graduate program and my time working for CSU's Center for Career Design, I have learned how to actively design my own life and how to help others do the same. I have also learned how to become a more effective leader as I continue to develop skills in coaching, research, instructional design, resource development, and organizational behavior analysis and application. In addition, I have co-authored an academic research paper titled “A Conceptual Model for Community-Building through Servant Leadership at Different Organizational Levels”, which exemplifies my dedication to gaining a better understanding of how to initiate, sustain, and invest in relational community development. I presented this paper at the 2021 Eastern Academy of Management (EAM) Conference and have recently achieved publication for it in the International Journal of Servant Leadership (Volume 16). With these experiences, I believe I am paving a path to becoming the Adventurer I want to become. For my next steps, I am seeking diverse opportunities to engage in community building through entrepreneur development, as well as a doctoral program that aligns with my values and goals. I look forward to progressing in my personal and professional journeys as I guide global servant leaders through their own!
