As a merchandise analyst I am responsible for the in-stock conditions at the DC and in stores across three departments. I place orders for one time buys, allocate them efficiently, and bring in the product at the optimum time in order to maximize sales. I analyze sales and inventory at the company level and store level, then implement actions accordingly. I ensure that goods featured on the weekly circular are in stores at the time of the ad to ensure customer satisfaction. I fill special order requests and rain checks to stores in a timely manner. My role at ALCO consists of assisting the ALCO buying team. I complete new item setups for all new items for my assigned departments. I execute retail, cost, and status changes of new and existing SKUs. I accurately input the sale prices for the weekly circular that goes out to all ALCO stores. I provide my opinion on product assortments for each season, based on trends, pricing, and the ALCO customers’ needs. I had the opportunity to assist with editing the Women's Spring & Summer Collections for photo shoots, featured in the ALCO weekly circular. I Solve cost discrepancies between PO’s and vendor invoices. I also provide 200+ ALCO stores with support, regarding special order, replenishment issues, and other store operations questions
