I have recently settled back in New Zealand and discovering the world of business after spending 13 years abroad racing Mountain Bikes and exploring the worldDuring my years overseas I raced MTB XC races professionally for Cannondale, Bianchi and Trek. My performance highlights was staying consistant in the top 10, as well as pulling off one big win in the UCI World Cup. I managed to win 3 NORBA's and a few Swiss Cups, Italian Cups and different races around the globe. I also participated in 3 Olympics and 13 World Championships. In 2008 I felt satisfied that I had acheived everything I could and decided to change my life direction and return home to NZ.I started a company with a friend called Adventure Media Group Ltd. This was a huge learning experience and I learnt a lot in the process about the realities of many factors of business. During that period I also started Black Seal Imports and I currently focus most of my energy on this, meanwhile also taking a sustainable system course through Otago Polytech. This course is very exciting and currently helping me to build a better, longer term strategic plan.I'm also currently working with MTB Skills Clinic as a coach and also helping to coordinate the Mountain Bike Otago Development Program.
