Senior Scheduling Officer
Current• Competence in using AIMS (Crew Management System) for crew planning and scheduling.• Develop and oversee crew schedules for the whole PIA fleet using AIMS.• Leads the crew planning team to ensure timely and high-standard delivery of crew pairings, roster plans, and training schedules. Oversee manpower forecasting, budget planning, and the publishing of crew rosters, ensuring all logistical support is arranged and confirmed.• Partners with other departments to prioritize and coordinate training plans, ensuring effective process flow and resource allocation.• Carefully evaluate the risk to crew resources and cost of operation when crew pairings are required to be changed.• Collaborates with line managers and other stakeholders to meet crew coverage needs while ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and safety standards. Address non-compliance issues with regulatory authorities.• Planning and day-to-day of crew rosters keeping in view the flight duty time limitations and fatigue risk management other requirements of CAA ANO (Air Navigation Order).• Comprehensive recording of the crew scheduling and other crew scheduling related activities in order to ensure transparency of transactions. This is essential to analyze trends and investigate incidents.• Assist Schedules Planning Specialist/Senior Officer in slot management projects.• Ensure crew rosters that are published are fully compliant with PCAA/GCAA rules and company policies.• Creates a conducive working environment to build and sustain a performance driven, engaged, and committed team.• Applies quality assurance, safety, and security standards, and responds to audit requirements in a timely manner.• Validates crew pairings, rosters, and training schedules to ensure equitable distribution and adherence to regulations and KPIs.• Provides direction, coaching, and guidance to team members for their career and professional development.
