Financial Controller
CurrentPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Oversee tax compliance and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts and provide analysis of variances. Provide financial analysis and strategic guidance to the executive team to support decision-making. Manage and develop the finance team, including hiring, training, and performance management. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulatory agencies. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis. Analyzing financial data and preparing reports on financial performance and trends. Ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and documented. Conducting regular audits of financial processes and procedures to identify potential areas of risk. Developing and implementing internal controls to mitigate risk and prevent fraud. Developing and maintaining relationships with key vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms. Managing cash flow and ensuring that the company has adequate cash reserves to meet its financial obligations. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Managing relationships with investors and providing regular updates on the company's financial performance and strategy.
