My research focused… Show more As a Research Assistant, I played a pivotal role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency of an auger screw by engineering and optimizing the production process of the Auger Screw, resulting in a remarkable 40% reduction in production time and a 35% decrease in raw material costs. Additionally, I designed and fabricated a gantry-based concrete 3D printer prototype for rapid construction, and lead design experiments to analyze design mixes and eco-friendly material admixtures. My research focused on the strength, rheology, flowability, and buildability of fiber-reinforced 3D printable concrete. Also, I actively participated in several research and development (R&D) projects assigned to the Lab, contributing valuable insights to the team. In a leadership capacity, I managed and assigned tasks to an undergraduate team of four members, guiding them in the development of projects such as a bridge-type Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and a traverse mechanism for monitoring water tunnel specimens. This experience allowed me to develop a constructive mindset to solve complex engineering problems and be an effective team player in a collaborative working environment.
