Dr. Kashif Rasool has earned PhD from College of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Kyungpook National University, Korea. Currently, he is serving as Researcher at Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation. Before joining QEERI, Dr. Rasool was working as Assistant Professor with School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. He has been actively involved in many research projects and teaching at university level, and received certificates of honor. He is the reviewer of prestigious journals like ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, Journal of Hazardous Materials, International Journal Hydrogen Energy, Journal of Cleaner Production, Environmental Technology, and Water Science and Technology. His research interests lie broadly in the identification of innovative and cost-effective solutions within the fields of water treatment including aerobic, anaerobic activated sludge processes, synthesis and application of antibacterial nanomaterials, anti-biofouling membrane fabrications, nano-water, membrane technology, desalination, and biocorrosion mitigation. He has published several research articles in refereed scientific journals.
