In the C4 Cross-Campus Capstone Classroom project, I collaborated with an interdisciplinary team of seven students from Liberal Arts, Science, Health, and Engineering Faculties to address the UN SDG for Decent Work and Economic Growth, supported by the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Our final project, presented on Capstone Day to key stakeholders, tackled the challenge question: "How can we help newcomers to Canada better understand personal finances in a Canadian context to improve their experience and community engagement?"I chose to pursue a commerce degree for its practical, real-world focus and emphasis on critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, crucial for roles like business analyst or marketing innovator. This degree prepares me to tackle business challenges and contribute effectively in professional settings.
