I started a nonprofit bakery in my freshman year of high school. We create all natural treats without using any artifical ingredients including muffins, cupcakes, cakes, and fruit based desserts. All of the profits are donated to a local charity called Feed My Starving Children.

Vietnam

I interned at a hospital in Hue, Vietnam for two weeks to gain exposure to the field of medicine. I was able to witness surgeries in an operation theatre, shadow doctors around a hospital, work in university labs, and attend college level lectures.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

I was able to intern at an animal behaviour lab and work with a species of carpenter ants. I interned for about two months and learned how to track their alarm hormone reception using tracking software. I also learned how to work with animals in a humane manner.During this internship, I also presented my own research on lycaenids to the college faculty and students.
