I am a recent Electrical Engineering Graduate with a concentration in Power Systems. Through my coursework and projects, I have obtained valuable team working and problem-solvingexperience. I have also intensively polished my communication and time management skills while beingpart of a team. I have worked on many projects related to maintaining and renovating certainlandscape enclosures. This allowed me to further increase my knowledge of maintenance and repairwork. All these experiences and my personal interests have allowed me to develop many new skills andgiven me a knack for improvisation and multitasking.Since starting at New Flyer, I have been deeply involved in embedded systems of a controller and most of my efforts have been focused on software integration and communication through that controller. I have applied theoretical ideas onto the test bench that simulates a real transit bus. Time is a huge factor in a customer leveraged industry such as this because thousands of hours go into Research and Development to output a running production transit bus, helping me learn the importance of efficiency and time management skills while being productive.As an engineering student, I have worked with various design software, power tools and machinesduring team projects. I have also worked with 3D printers that requires making designs in CADsoftware. When it comes to operating machinery, I am very adaptive and receptive to learning whiletaking appropriate safety measures. At my previous co-op placement with WinPak, I worked as an assistant to operate a laminating machineand I also worked with the Safety department to evaluate any safety risks and document any importantdata. Through my retail experience at Superstore and Chamois, I learned the importance of efficiencyand time management while being productive and providing satisfactory service. I worked with mycolleagues to maintain peak quality in our tasks.
